Glasshouse and Associated Facilities

The School of Biological Science offers a number of specialist plant growth facilities in two separate locations on the Clayton campus. Together these provide opportunities for a wide range of plant-based research projects including genetic, conservational and ecological studies.

On the roof of Building 17 is a glasshouse complex consisting of 14 independently climate-controlled bays, each approximately 10 m² in area, including:

  • Two AQIS-registered quarantine bays
  • Two GMAC-registered PC2 bays
  • One potting shed
